The Orbea Gain D40 is a model within the Gain range of bikes that thinks big with an affordable price point for an electric road bike. Boasting the same frame and geometry as the higher priced models in the range, the D40 opens a world of assisted road cycling  to anyone who is keen to either take up cycling or simply looking for a little extra help in the saddle.

Equipped with an  aluminium frame, carbon forks, Shimano 10 speed  gearing and hydraulic disc brakes, the comfort level is everything that a keen cyclist requires to use this bike for commuting, leisure or training purposes. 

To help eat up the miles, there is a 250 watt motor producing 40 newton metres of torque  from a rear hub motor which makes light work of hills and pulls away from a standstill when needed. 

All in all, with the addition of front and rear lighting with a digital control unit, the pull factor of the D40 is second to none in its class.
