Splitting the difference between a full-power electric bike and a traditional model, the Orbea Rise M10 FS Electric Mountain Bike offers sublime handling with a twist of assisted power, making it a potent formula for unbridled fun on the trail. The Shimano EP801-RS motor system and integrated 360Wh battery see a low-profile footprint, keeping the weight low and the bike manoeuvrable on twisty singletrack. An OMR carbon frame, plush suspension, a lightweight electric system and top-drawer components make this bike light and efficient with stable handling and good traction.

Providing 60Nm of power, the motor is no slouch, with assistance up to 15.5mph / 25kph, and the custom tune - Rider Synergy (RN) - sees it delivered in a natural way that doesn’t disrupt the feel of the bike. The Shimano EN600 remote ensures control over the assistance settings, and the fast-rolling 29” OQUO Mountain Control MC32TEAM wheels deliver composure through rough terrain, helped by the excellent Maxxis Dissector tyres.

A 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain offers the ultimate in performance, with a 10-51t cassette helping with steep climbs and M6120 hydraulic disc brakes on hand for control on technical descents. With 150mm/140mm of FOX suspension travel, front and rear respectively, the bike is aimed squarely at trail riders who enjoy the climbs and flat sections just as much as the descents, making it a great all-round option.
